Blogging for Books Review " The Pirate Queen"

Please note : I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.  Would you like to see other reviews for this book and others then go HERE

I tried to read this book several times, and just could not get into it. I felt like at times it was a bit confusing to read. I was really expecting it to be one I would enjoy. I felt like it was rushed. I hate that I did not get into this, especially since it was a good read for others.

Tay & Caleb @ the beach!
I LOVE the beach!

So many great memories to be made there! I remeber the first time we took the kids on their First beach trips. Taylor was a baby, and I think Caleb when we took him he was about a year old.  There is just something that is so relaxing about it. God sure knew what he was doing when he created them!
I am trying to talk my hubby into going again! Notice I said trying!

We are looking foward to the weekend. Saturday at Church we are packing about 12,000 meals to send oversea's. It's through a mission project called FEED THE HUNGER. I can't even begin to imagine having to go without food. That's something I've been fortunate to not have to experience, and something that I could say I take for granted. But there are so many in our country and across the world that face that everyday. So Sad.

Well hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Rambles

Well I've got 2 days left of my vacation, then it's back to work. I've enjoyed the time off, although I think this week I've physically worked harder than I do at my day job! I've learned how to pull the roots of a hosta plant....note to self here: try my new found skills on the hosta's I have in the front yard! I've also been reminded that mosquito's do come out in the day time & yes in fact they do like me! UGH!!

Here are some pictures from our last beach trip we took back in Oct. I am still working on editing the ones from this trip, as well as some other pics! I plan to do that tommorow! I'm off to get ready for another fun filled day of Mission work!

Myrtle Beach, SC

I love the shadow of the Sky Wheel in this!

I wish I had my chair sitting right back near the water!

I love this one!

Getting back to bloggin

Caleb & his fish mouth!

Okay so it's only been what 8-9 months since I last blogged! Time to do some catching up. It's summer, the kids are out of school, so no more homework. I don't know who is more excited about that me or the kids! Both Taylor & Caleb have passed their grades. So, I now have an 8th grader, and 2nd grader! It's so hard to believe that this will be Tay's last year in middle school! Man the times flying!

We just got back from the beach this past weekend, we had such a nice time! I love the beach! This week I am on vacation, and we are doing mission projects this week helping out others in our church family, then on Sat. we are packing meals for people in starving countries! I have really enjoyed it the last 2 days so far. We also are having Vacation Bible School...who doesn't love that! I have so many fond memories of VBS as a kid myself! I am so glad that my two are able to be apart of it!

Well I am working on getting some pics up. That will be my next post & BE WARNED! It will be alot of pictures!
